As a codelock hacker, wield powerful curses to protect network systems from intruders!

I used the Adobe color wheel tool (link) to pick curse colors in an effort to make them distinguishable by as many people as possible.  Let me know if this didn't work well for you!

Controls:

  • Simple Point and Click with mouse
  • 1, 2, 3, 4 Number Keys as an alternative shortcut to select curse cards

This game was made for Godot Wild Jam #54 (Feb 10th to Feb 19th, 2023, jam link), under the jam's objective:

"Welcome to the Godot Wild Jam which starts the second weekend of every month. Whether you're a person who likes to go wild, a casual game developer, a Godot fan, or you just stumbled upon the engine recently and would like to have a go at it, then this is the event for you."

 This jam's theme is CURSES.

Also from the jam page:

"Wildcards are an optional limitation to add a unique challenge in addition to the theme. Pick one, none or all; it’s up to you!"

The wildcards for this jam are:

  • Crumbling Location: this place is falling apart, too bad you’re in it
  • Faustian Bargain: make a deal with the devil
  • Do It For Me: use procedural generation

The games for this jam had to be made in the Godot engine.

I had big plans for more story levels, but ran out of time before the submission deadline.  I'm hoping to get those in shortly after the jam is over.

It's a good game with potential. It can be turned into a fantastic clicker game for mobile devices.

Thanks!  I had fun making this one, I should take another look at it sometime.  Good idea, it does seem like it could translate well to mobile!
